A Boston man has denied murdering his former wife on appearing at Lincoln Crown Court on Wednesday, September 21.

Gytis Griskevicius, 32, of St Ann’s Lane, Boston, is alleged to have murdered Marina Erte, 33, on May 20 this year.

There was no application for bail and Griskevicius was remanded in custody by Judge Michael Heath to await a further hearing in November.

His trial is scheduled to begin at the Crown Court on March 27, 2017 and is expected to last up to four weeks.

The body of Ms Erte was found at a house in Elizabeth Road, Boston, on the afternoon of Friday, May 20.

The property was smoke damaged as a result of a fire.
