BMW driver punches pensioner in face before driving off in Healing

A pensioner was left with a black eye and bloodied nose after a BMW driver punched him in the face in Healing.

The assault happened outside Healing Comprehensive School on Low Road at 7am on Monday, October 31.

A 66-year-old man was driving a Ford Galaxy along Healing Road when a grey BMW pulled up directly in front of him causing him to stop.

The man driving the BMW then got out his car and approached the driver’s side of the Ford and punched the victim in the face through the open window.

The suspect then got back in his car and drove off.

The pensioner sustained a black eye and a bloodied nose, but did not need medical treatment.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged in his mid-30s and between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 7ins tall with short dark hair.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or know the identity of the BMW driver should call 101 quoting incident number 69 of October 31.
