A Grimsby man has been charged with four alleged offences, including two counts of assaulting a police officer.

Justice Maxwell Livingstone, 39, of Rutland Street, has been charged with two counts of assaulting a constable, one count of assault by beating and one count of theft.

He has been remanded in custody and will be appearing at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, December 7.

The assaults relate to an incident in Grimsby on Tuesday, December 6 and the theft of keys for a business in the town.
