A young schoolboy was left badly shaken after being punched off his bike by a man in Immingham.

The assault of the 10-year-old boy took place between 8.15am and 8.35am on Tuesday, January 31 on Bluestone Lane between Hollingsworth Avenue and Pelham Road.

It is believed the man punched the child off his bike before running down either Stainton Drive or Lansdown Road.

The suspect is described as an Asian male, 6ft tall and of large build.

He was aged in his 30s or 40s and was wearing an all black tracksuit at the time of the assault.

It is also believed the suspect was carrying some sort of black bag.

Police are now appealing for CCTV footage from the area and ask anyone with any information to call 101 quoting incident number 87 of January 31.
