Plans for a new Spalding care home in a former primary school will go before South Holland District Council’s planning committee this week.

If approved, the proposal would see the former Goodfellows School in Spalding Common become a two and three storey care home facility with 60 bedrooms and parking for 22 cars, creating the equivalent to 30 full time jobs.

The application, submitted by Country Court Care Ltd in Peterborough, is the second to be submitted following the council’s original refusal of the project in July 2016.
