Gusts of around 60mph have been causing travel chaos in Lincolnshire, with trees blocking roads and railway lines, and main routes into the county being closed.

A tree is blocking the line between Gainsborough Lea Road and Doncaster, causing delays to East Midlands Trains services.

On the roads, a tree has almost fallen down close to the A158 junction for Holton cum Beckering.

Another tree has fallen down on A15 northbound around 200 metres after Riseholme roundabout near Lincoln, blocking one side of the road.

A lorry containing pigs has also overturned on the A16 at Cowbit, partially closing the road.

In the north of the county, the Humber Bridge is closed to high-sided vehicles and caravans.

Expect travel delays around all of these incidents.

A second weather warning for snow is valid for parts of Lincolnshire for 24 hours from Thursday, January 12.
