Work will start next week to permanently close the break in the central reservation on the A46, at the junction of Grimsby Road in Laceby.

The four-day work will begin on Monday, March 13.

The break in the central reservation was closed 18 months ago, due to vehicles exiting Laceby and performing u-turns on the A46.

The temporary measure currently in place has improved road safety and as a result this feature will now be made permanent with the introduction of a grassed central reservation.

Temporary lane closures will be in place to keep the area safe during the works and access to Laceby from the A46 will be unaffected.

Following completion, work will start on Thursday, March 16 to install a dropped kerb to the cycleway opposite the Manor Farm entrance.

This is expected to take two days to complete and will improve access to the cycleway and connectivity between nearby cycle routes.
