Good Gordon! Gin festival heading to Lincoln

Ginthusiasts will be able to attend a new festival in the city dedicated to their favourite tipple when a national touring company make a stop in Lincoln. The brand behind GinFestival.com are visiting the city for the first time on August 11 and 12 at The Engine Shed. Sessions are run for £9.50(+ booking fee)…

Ginthusiasts will be able to attend a new festival in the city dedicated to their favourite tipple when a national touring company make a stop in Lincoln.

The brand behind GinFestival.com are visiting the city for the first time on August 11 and 12 at The Engine Shed.

Sessions are run for £9.50(+ booking fee) per ticket:

  • Friday, August 11 – Evening Session – 6.30pm – 11pm
  • Saturday, August 12 – Afternoon Session – 12.30pm – 5pm
  • Saturday, August 12 – Evening Session – 6.30pm – 11pm

​Jym Harris, festival co-founder said: “We’re making sure that this second gin craze moves beyond London, and all across the country.

“Lincoln was an obvious choice for us, as it’s an amazing city.”

The festival company began in 2013 when husband and wife team, Jym and Marie Harris, took their passion for gin and turned it into festivals focussed on gin.

Visitors to the events can drink and experiment with new gins as well as learn more about the spirit.

A selection of distillers and brands will be on offer as well as food and entertainment.

The event is strictly for over 18s and ID will be required on entry.
