A Wetherspoon pub in Louth which had to be closed down following an infestation of vermin has reopened this morning.

As previously reported, the Joseph Morton closed on Sunday, March 12 due to an infestation of vermin, with reports to Lincolnshire Reporter indicating that rats had been discovered on the premises.

The pub reopened at 8am on Wednesday, March 15, following a visit from pest control experts.

A spokesperson for the national chain confirmed the previous issues with vermin and told Lincolnshire Reporter that the pub is open for business once again.
