Three people were arrested by police on suspicion of a racially aggravated attack at Lincoln Central train station.

Officers were called to the station overnight on Sunday, March 12 after reports that a fight had broken out on the 10.28pm service from Newark to Lincoln.

Two women, 44 and 22, and one man aged 31 were arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order offences and affray.

British Transport Police area appealing for witnesses to come forward with information.
