Roadworks lasting two months have begun in Cleethorpes.

North East Lincolnshire Council working in partnership with ENGIE is carrying out works to Warwick Road from Monday, March 13.

The works include resurfacing, repairing damaged kerbs and gullies and repainting road markings.

The first stage of the works will be completed under daytime traffic management between 7.30am and 6pm from March 13 to 24.

Parking between Penshurst Road and Soloman Court will be temporarily suspended to allow the free flow of traffic.

Full day closures of sections from Sandringham Road working towards Curzon Avenue will be in place from March 27 to May 12.

During this period, bus services 7 and 4a will be suspended on Curzon Avenue and Warwick Road and the service 7 will operate via Sandringham Road for the duration of the closure.

Parking on Sandingham Road between Balmoral Road and Philip Avenue will be temporarily suspended at this time to allow the free flow of traffic when works are being carried out between Sandringham Road and Penshurst Road.
