Scouts from vocal TV talent contest The Voice UK are on the hunt for the star of the future in Lincoln next month.
The show, which began on BBC One on 2012, features five different stages; producers’ auditions, blind auditions, battle phase, knockouts and live shows.
The winner receives £100,000 and a record deal with Universal Republic.
Lincoln auditions take place on Wednesday, May 10 at The Jolly Brewer pub on Broadgate between 9pm and 11pm.
Scouts will see auditions on a first come first served basis. Under 18s are permitted if accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.
A gripping first televised performance will see the singers perform to judges’ backs, as they vote to support them based on vocal talents alone.

As people prepare to go out more in the run up to Christmas, a Lincoln woman who created the globally renowned Ask For Angela not-for-profit scheme is proud to have made the county, and the world, a safer place.
The scheme, launched by Hayley Crawford (pictured above) in 2016, aims to ensure that anyone who is feeling vulnerable or unsafe is able to get the support they need. This could be on a night out, a date, meeting friends and other situations, and it is available to everyone of all genders to help them feel safer.
