A child has been taken to hospital with a serious and potentially life-threatening head injury following a crash in Grimsby.

The incident happened at around 3.45pm on Tuesday, June 7 on King Edward Street.

The crash involved a white Volvo lorry and a black Renault Clio.

A woman and her two children were in the Clio and were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries.

One of the children has been taken to Sheffield Children’s Hospital with a head injury which is serious and potentially life-threatening.
