Developers have submitted plans for 187 new homes in Sleaford.

Plans submitted by Taylor Lindsey Ltd would see the new homes build on land off Town Road, Quarrington.

If plans are approved, 187 homes would be built, which would include a 20% proportion of affordable housing.

There would be 28 houses build for every hectare of land and plans also show a new publicly accessible open space.

It is proposed that the development will deliver a choice and range of mixed tenure homes that will cater for sustainable and modern styles of living through a mix of one bed apartments and 2-4 bed detached and semi-detached dwellings.

Councillors at North Kesteven District Council will discuss the plans at a later date.
