A go-kart driver has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a crash on a track over the weekend.

The incident happened at around 2.15pm on Sunday, July 2 at the PF International Kart Circuit, Stragglethorpe Lane, Brandon.

Two responders, an ambulance and the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.

Following the crash, which involved two other go-karts, the driver was airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham for treatment.
