Police appeal after child allegedly racially abused in Louth

Police have released a description of a woman who reportedly subjected a seven-year-old girl to racial abuse in Louth. The incident was reported on Saturday, July 29 at around 3pm. Police have released a description of a woman who reportedly subjected a seven-year-old girl to racial abuse in Louth.

The incident was reported on Saturday, July 29 at around 3pm.

Police are looking for a woman, described as white, around 60, with shoulder length, straight black hair with grey strands, of slim build and a ‘weathered complexion’.

The woman is alleged to have stopped to speak to the young girl who was near to the Mode clothing store on Queen Street with her mother.

She was then racially abusive to the girl before walking off in the direction of Church Street,

The Louth neighbourhood policing team has issued an alert to residents that they are keen to speak with the female described.
