Boy, 16, charged after reports of man with gun in Lincolnshire town

He has been charged with breach of bail.

A 16 year-old Grimsby boy has been charged with breach of bail following reports of a man with a gun in Cleethorpes.

As previously reported, Humberside Police arrested two teenage boys after having to swoop following reports of a man with a gun in Cleethorpes.

Officers were called at 7.45pm on Thursday, August 10 after a member of the public alerted the force to the incident on Isaacs Hill.

Police attended and arrested the boys aged 13 and 16 on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

The 16-year-old boy has been charged with breach of bail and will appear at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court.

A 13 year-old boy has been released without charge.
