YMCA Lincolnshire is set to unveil its brand new “café and bar with a twist” to the public on Monday, September 18.

Artists’ impressions of the new Showroom café and bar
A spokesperson from YMCA Lincolnshire explained: “Our old iCafe had been open for a number of years and was in need of a lick of paint. But we didn’t want to just recreate what we already had, we wanted to be innovative, make it a bit different.
“What we have now is a venue that’s unique from others in the city.
“We’re filling it with items from The Nomad Trust warehouse and retail project – furniture that has been donated – and if people like what they’re sitting on, they have the option to take it home with them.”
The Showroom Café and Bar, which Interior Architecture students from the University of Lincoln who helped to design, is set to be opened by Mayor of Lincoln, Chris Burke, in a private ceremony on Monday morning, also featuring a Gary Barlow tribute.
