Cat undergoes lifesaving surgery after being shot with air rifle

The cat needed ‘life-saving surgery’.

Police are investigating after a cat had to have ‘lifesaving surgery’ when it was shot with an air rifle near Louth.

The incident happened sometime on October 30 in North Thoresby.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police posted on their Facebook page: “PC Darren Christie is investigating after a cat was shot with air rifle in North Thoresby.

“It had to undergo lifesaving surgery.

“Anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident number 470 of October 30.”
