Lincoln Glitter Lips founders win prestigious Amazon business award

The company featured on Dragon’s Den in August 2016.

Lincoln-based company Beauty BLVD, behind the Glitter Lips brand, has won Micro Business of the Year at the Amazon Growing Business Awards 2017.

Beauty BLVD co-founders Paula Short and Rachel de Caux picked up the award at a ceremony in London on Wednesday, November 29.

This year Beauty BLVD, which was featured on Dragon’s Den in August 2016, has continued to successfully grow, adding Urban Retreat at Harrods as one of its stockists.

The company has also launched a number of gift sets, face, eye, lip and neck masks and revamped their Trinity Tri Colour Lip Tints.

Beauty BLVD was created four years ago and in that time it has launched 19 shades of Glitter Lips, nine shades of Stardust, three Lip Tints, and four different types of masks for the face and neck.

A spokesperson for the company said: “2018 is also looking to be a huge and successful year for the brand as we continue to launch into the cosmetic world as we unveil lipsticks, lip liners and makeup removers to name a few.”
