Lincolnshire Police are warning drivers to be careful on the roads this morning as temperatures struggle to get above freezing.
Snow and ice is still on many pavements and roads on Monday, December 11, following a wintry weekend which saw snow fall across the county, although not as badly as forecasted.
Highs today are forecast to be just 2°C, with temperatures set to plummet overnight, with lows of -2°C in built up areas, and much lower in the countryside.

Inspector Phil Baker of Lincolnshire Police took to social media to warn motorists to drive to the conditions of the road.
He said that a multi-agency operation had been set up at the force’s HQ in Nettleham, where officers will be working with their partners at Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue.
Inspector Baker said: “The road temperatures are dropping.

As people prepare to go out more in the run up to Christmas, a Lincoln woman who created the globally renowned Ask For Angela not-for-profit scheme is proud to have made the county, and the world, a safer place.
The scheme, launched by Hayley Crawford (pictured above) in 2016, aims to ensure that anyone who is feeling vulnerable or unsafe is able to get the support they need. This could be on a night out, a date, meeting friends and other situations, and it is available to everyone of all genders to help them feel safer.
