New joint Topshop and Topman opening at Lincoln Waterside

The Topman on St Benedict’s Square will close.

A new joint Topshop and Topman store will open in Lincoln Waterside Shopping Centre later this year.

Topshop and Topman have signed for a new 11,300 sq. ft. store in the centre in the vacant unit next to H&M.

Topman, which is currently based at St Benedict’s Square, will move and join the women’s fashion store in the larger unit.

A spokesperson at Arcadia Group, owners of Topshop and Topman, said: “With our lease expiring on our current St Benedict’s Square store, having the opportunity to combine both Topshop and Topman in one location is incredibly attractive to us.

“We are sure that a new store offering both men’s and women’s fashion under one roof will be incredibly popular with customers in Lincoln.”

Asset Managers for Waterside Lincoln Limited Partnership, Mark Williams of The Hark Group added: “We are committed to making the Waterside Centre the home of the biggest and best names in fashion.

“The arrival of Topman alongside Topshop, H&M, Next and New Look is fantastic news for Lincoln, and we are currently in advanced discussions with other national brands.”

Vision Express also signed for a new store and moved into a temporary home opposite Goldsmiths in mid-December.

The opticians will move into the unit being vacated by Topshop in Spring 2018.
