Sheep killed in savage dog attack in Croxby

One ram is still missing.

Three rams have been killed after a dog attack in a field in Croxby, north of Market Rasen.

The owner of the flock had 17 pedigree Hampshire and Blue Texel rams which were savaged overnight on the night of Thursday, January 11, into the morning of Friday, January 12.

Three of the Hampshire rams were killed, one is in a serious condition, and the others have a variety of injuries.

One ram is still missing and could be in the area of Croxby or Brookenby.

Lincolnshire Police have said that the injuries “are consistent with a dog attack”.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious, or who may have seen the missing ram, should call police on 101, quoting incident 78 of January 12.
