Man arrested for suspected terrorism offence released under investigation

Latest on the Lincoln suspected terrorism arrest.

A 46-year-old man arrested on suspicion of a terrorism offence in Lincoln has been released under investigation pending further enquiries, police said.

The man was arrested on Friday, February 23, after Counter Terrorism Policing North West raided a property in Lincoln.

As previously reported he was arrested on suspicion of malicious communications and being a member of the banned far-right neo-Nazi movement National Action UK.

It was part of a pre-planned operation relating to an investigation in the north west.

Greater Manchester Police were unable to provide any further comment when contacted by The Lincolnite.
