Resurfacing works in Cleethorpes will last 10 weeks

Works begin next week.

Road and footpath resurfacing works in the Queen’s Parade area of Cleethorpes will begin next week for 10 weeks.

North East Lincolnshire Council and ENGIE will start two phases of work on Monday, February 26.

The carriageway will be resurfaced and the footway reconstructed on a section of Queen’s Parade between Hardy’s Road and Kingsway under a full 24-hour road closure.

The first phase of works will be between Hardy’s Road and Oxford Road, with the second phase between Oxford Road and Kingsway.

Residents directly affected will be contacted by the contractor prior to the work starting and advanced warning signs will be displayed.

Local diversions will also be in place.

During the Easter Bank Holiday weekend the road closure will be removed and the road open for all traffic.

North East Lincolnshire Council and its partner ENGIE apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused during these improvement works.
