Boy and woman injured: Masked robbers break into Skegness home and threaten family

A terrifying ordeal.

A 11-year-old boy and a woman in her 50s have been injured after masked men forced their way into a Skegness home and threatened a family.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the aggravated burglary on Philip Grove in Skegness at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, March 7.

Three men are said to have forced their into the home and aggressively threatened the family inside.

Police said they were wearing black and their faced were “obscured”.

A woman in her 50s and a boy, 11, received minor injuries. An amount of cash was stolen.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious is being asked to urgently call Lincolnshire Police.

Investigating officer DS Wright said: “Thankfully no one was seriously injured but nonetheless this would clearly have been a terrifying ordeal.

“We are asking anyone who has information that could help us identify those responsible to please come forward.”
