New date set for Lincoln 10K postponed due to snow

The City of Lincoln 10K will now take place this summer after the previous race was postponed due to heavy snow.

As previously reported, heavy snowfall overnight forced organisers to postpone the Run For All race scheduled for March 18 and it will now take place on Sunday, July 1.

The race will begin at an earlier time of 9.30am.

Junior and mini races went ahead on Saturday, March 17 despite bitterly cold temperatures and snow showers, however worsened conditions were deemed too unsafe for the main event.

Anyone who previously had a place for the race should receive an email from race organisers Run For All.
