Vans block vehicle and hammer on windows at Lincoln roundabout

Road rage at Carholme roundabout.

Two white transit vans reportedly blocked another vehicle before colliding with them, shouting abuse and banging on windows at Carholme roundabout.

The incident took place between the Lincoln bypass A46 and Carholme Road A57 in Lincoln at around 12.20pm on March 11.

The victim was travelling from the direction of Saxilby when they reported being tailgated by the two vans, police said.

At the roundabout, the two vans are understood to have blocked the victim’s exit by driving in a dangerous manner, with one van colliding into the back of the vehicle.

The drivers then reportedly began shouting and abusing the victim and banged on the window of the vehicle.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone who was driving in the area at the time and saw the incident, particularly anyone with dash cam footage, should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 172.
