Knife used in double stabbing on Louth street, police confirm

Police have arrested a further teen in connection with the stabbing incident.

Update, April 10: The 17-year-old arrested as part of investigations has now been released under investigation.


Police officers have confirmed that two 19-year-old men injured in an attack outside a Louth nightclub were stabbed with a knife.

A 16-year-old from Louth has been charged with grievous bodily harm and was remanded in custody in relation to the attack near to the Samuel’s nightclub on Little Eastgate in the early hours of Sunday morning.

An 18-year-old, who was previously arrested as part of investigations, has been released under investigation.

A further man (aged 17 from Louth) has been arrested on Monday, April 9.

As reported previously, two local men, both aged 19, were injured in the attack at around 2.50am on Sunday morning.

They were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, however police did not believe their injuries were life-threatening or life-changing.
