Man reportedly knocks child, 4, to the ground before racially abusing mother

A man in his late 30s knocked a four-year-old to the ground before allegedly racially abusing the child’s mother in Lincoln city centre earlier this month.

The man is reported to have pushed past a family in the alleyway between Iceland and Uniform Direct near to the High Street on April 11 between 4.30pm and 5pm.

After pushing the child to the floor the man was challenged before racially abusing the child’s mother.

The man then fled the scene, running across Tentercroft Street car park in the direction of Sincil Bank.

The man was described as wearing a black leather jacket with a chequered shirt underneath, and wearing blue jeans.

Anyone with any information or who witnessed the incident, should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 314 of April 11.
