Found: Vulnerable missing man may have taken bus to Lincoln

Concerns are growing for his safety.

Update: Simon has been found safe and well following a search with the assistance of Lincolnshire and Nottingham Search and Rescue volunteers.


Police looking for a vulnerable missing man who has Asperger’s say that he may have taken the bus to Lincoln.

As previously shared on Lincolnshire Reporter, Simon Rouse, 37, left his home in Kirton in Lindsey at around 8.50am on Monday, April 16, to go to work and hasn’t been seen since.

He hasn’t taken the medication he needed in recent days.

Simon hasn’t been seen since he left his home in Kirton in Lindsey on Monday.

Humberside Police received a reported sighting of Simon on Cole Street in Scunthorpe at around 3.15pm on Monday.

Officers now believed Simon could have potentially travelled to Lincoln by bus.

Simon has access to money and has a bus pass with him, but his mobile phone is switched off.

He is described as white, five foot eight, of average build and clean shaven with receding blonde hair.

Simon was wearing a green/grey jacket, jeans and trainers and he walks in a distinctive fashion, police said.
