A 66-year-old woman has died after a crash involving a van and a car on the A18 at the junction at Barnetby Top this morning.
A person has also been arrested in connection with the incident.
As previously reported, police were called at around 8.45am on Thursday, May 31 after a crash between a red Mazda 2 and a black Volskwagen Transporter outside Gallows Wood Service Station in Barnetby.
The female driver of the Mazda car was pronounced dead at the scene and her family are being supported by specialist officers at Humberside Police.
Police did not release the name of the victim.
The man driving the Volkswagen suffered minor injuries.
Humberside Police confirmed a man was arrested in connection with the incident, who has since been released under investigation.
Anyone who saw the crash, or either vehicle prior the incident, should call police on 101 quoting log number 138 of May 31.
