Man in his 20s dies after A1175 crash with lorry

A man in his 20s has sadly died.

A 26-year-old man has died after the car he was in crashed with a lorry near Market Deeping.

As reported previously, the collision happened on the A1157 Spalding Road just after 11pm on Monday, April 30.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and used cutting equipment in an effort to rescue the injured man from his vehicle.

He was taken to hospital with what was described at the time as serious injuries.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed on Wednesday, May 2 that the man, who was from the Peterborough area, had died from his injuries.
