Police appeal after cyclist injured in van crash

Van driver drove off without leaving details.

A cyclist was left with serious but not life-threatening injuries after a crash with a van in Lincoln.

The incident took place at around 3.30pm on May 10 when a flatbed style van crashed with a cyclist on Cross O’Cliffe Hill in Lincoln.

The driver of the van stopped to check on the victim’s injuries, but drove off without leaving any details, police said.

Officers are trying to find out the identity of the driver and if anyone witnessed the incident or knows the driver, or if you are the driver, contact police on 101 quoting incident 276 of May 10.
