Bunkers Hill resurfacing from next week

Temporary traffic signals will be in place

Resurfacing works as part of the Wragby Road improvement project in Lincoln will continue next week, this time affecting Bunkers Hill.

Temporary traffic signals will be in place on Bunkers Hill while work is being carried out during the day from Monday, June 11 to Friday, June 15, 9am to 3pm.

The works are subject to suitable weather.

As previously reported, resurfacing works to reduce congestion along Outer Circle Road and Wragby Road led to a number of road closures this week.

The works include creating longer lanes along Outer Circle Road on the approach to Wragby Road.

It also involves widening the Wragby Road carriageway between Wolsey Way and Outer Circle Road to accommodate four lanes (two westbound and two eastbound).

The project is being funded using part of the £5.4 million allocated to the authority by the Department of Transport from its National Productivity Investment Fund.
