Man hospitalised after Sleaford crash

Mareham Lane in Sleaford centre has been closed.

A man has been taken to hospital following a collision between two vehicles near Sleaford’s Southgate level crossing.

Mareham Lane has been closed and an Isuzu 4×4 and a badly damaged Volvo estate can be seen at the side of the road.

It is believed that the injured man has been taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with what’s been described as serious injuries.

Two fire crews from Sleaford were called to the scene at just after 5:30am on Monday, June 25 in order to provide casualty care and make the area safe.

It is not yet clear when the road will reopen, but train services appear to be unaffected.
