Springfields Adventure Land ready to open

A new adventure theme park will open at Springfields Outlet in Spalding on June 30.

Springfields Adventure Park, just off the A16, features a variety of activities including dinosaur themed mini golf, a tree top village and the UK’s largest JCB Young Drivers Zone.

The park has also put together a special programme of family-friendly activities for their opening weekend, starting with a grand opening at 11am on Saturday, June 30 by Coronation Street actress Samia Ghadie.

Other weekend entertainment includes Samba dancers, face painting and chances to meet Adventure Land themed characters such as a JCB transformer and Dino the dinosaur.

The park is designed to attract visitors from further afield and has created 65 new jobs for locals.

Tickets start at £3 for standard entrance and £7.95 for all-inclusive entry (which includes standard entrance and one session at each activity).

JCB Young Drivers Zone

Take a ride around the track on the pedal powered JCB diggers, explore the House and Scaffolding Play Tower and whizz down the tunnel slide.

Children’s access to the JCB Young Drivers Zone is included with either an all-inclusive ticket or with an entrance ticket plus £6 per child.

Tree Top Village

Families will be able to enjoy an adventure through the trees at the Tree Top Village in and out of the wooden towers and across the high suspended cargo net.

Access to the Tree Top Village is included in either the entrance ticket or all-inclusive ticket prices.

Dino Golf

Set in landscaped prehistoric gardens – the Jurassic is bought to life with Dinosaurs. Perfect your put while watching out for the Triceratops.

Access to Dino Golf is included with either an all-inclusive ticket or with an entrance ticket plus £3 per person for one round.

Goldie’s Gold Mine

Search for treasure as you gold pan at Goldie’s. Troughs are filled with water, sand and “treasure” once you have finished collecting take your treasure and receive your prize.

Access to Goldie’s is included with an all-inclusive ticket, but a charge of £2 per person per session to include pan hire and treasure will be required if you purchase an entrance only ticket.

Springy’s Railroad

All aboard the miniature steam train as it rides through the Festival Gardens and Adventure Land.

Access to the railroad is included with an all-inclusive ticket, but a charge of £2 per person per journey, payable on site will be required if you purchase an entrance only ticket.

Springy’s Beach

Have fun at the Springy’s Beach in the sandy play areas and rock pools that are all undercover so fun can be had whatever the weather.

Access to the beach play is included in both the entrance and all–inclusive tickets.

Radio Controlled Boats

Piloting one of the radio controlled boats around the boating pond.

Access to the Radio Controlled Boats is available either with an all-inclusive ticket or an entrance ticket by paying the coin operated £1 token (purchasable on site).

Springy’s Diner

Hearty portions aplenty and a fun, upbeat atmosphere are promised by Springy’s American Diner and its American themed menu.

Entrance to Springy’s is open to all with no entrance ticket required.
