Much loved cockatiels stolen in Louth

Prised pet birds were stolen from a home in Louth, leaving a family devastated.

Police are appealing for help to find the two grey cockatiels who were taken from a home on Scub Lane, Authorpe, Louth between June 22 and 23.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed anything in the area to come forward.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “A large vehicle may have been involved as two grey Cockatiels along with a large 6ft gold coloured cage was taken.

“If anyone saw anything that may help officers, or happen to have any information, including the whereabouts of the two birds which are a much loved family pet, please come forward and help with our enquiries.”
