Storm warning postpones Lincolnshire aviation festival

It has been re-arranged for September

The North Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Festival has become the latest event to succumb to the bad weather conditions.

The event was due to take place at Skydive Hibaldstow on July 29, but North Lincolnshire Council said it needed to be cancelled due to the high winds and rain forecast for this Sunday.

The festival, which includes a special Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast, will now take place on Sunday, September 30 and further details will be released in due course.

A spokesperson for North Lincolnshire Council said: “We apologise for an inconvenience caused.”
