Sneaky thieves make off with £750 B&Q hoard

A brazen switch

Two brazen thieves who made a switch in the Spalding B&Q store walked out with more than £759 worth of goods.

Police have released CCTV images of two men they want to trace as part of their investigation into the theft at the store on Winfrey Avenue in Spalding on August 8.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “One person had entered the store and removed items from a large cardboard box.

“Another person then filled the box with glow lamps and paid for the box at the till.

“We want to identify the two men pictured as it is believed they may be able to assist our inquiries.”
