Lincoln City appoint new director

‘I want more of the wonderful memories’

Lincoln City FC have appointed a new member to their board of directors.

David Lowes was born in Lincoln and has been a fan of the club ever since attending his first game in 1972.

His parents still live in Lincolnshire and have been season ticket holders for many years at Sincil Bank.

The new director joins the Imps after enjoying a 30 year career in management and marketing all over the world.

David Lowes said: “I hope that my experience can benefit the Imps in continuing to be progressive as a professional football club.

“This is as important off the pitch as it is on it. As a fan I want more of the wonderful memories Lincoln City have given me and am now in a position to play my small part in creating them.

“So my motivation in becoming a director is simple, to help the club maintain the momentum generated over the last couple of years.

“I never want us to go backwards. I’m excited to be involved in ensuring we have the infrastructure in place, to enable the management team and players to be competitive and for the club to realise its ambitions in a way that can be sustainable.”
