A man’s body was found after police searched around an address in Gainsborough on Tuesday afternoon.
Police received a report for a concern for safety at 4.50pm on Tuesday, October 16 and went to investigate the area on Cross Street and it is believed an air ambulance also attended the scene.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Following searches around an address in Gainsborough, officers discovered the body of a man.
“A file has been referred to the Coroner.”
It’s understood there were no suspicious circumstances.
A spokesperson for EMAS confirmed: “We received a call at 16:17 on 16 October from Lincolnshire requesting our assistance at an incident in Gainsborough.”
No resources were sent by EMAS as they were no longer needed.
