First Lincolnshire restaurant awarded Michelin star

The first in our region

Winteringham Fields near Scunthorpe is the first fine dining restaurant in Greater Lincolnshire to receive a Michelin star.

Colin McGurran, owner and chef patron of Winteringham Fields, said: “This year was our year, which is very much appreciated. We don’t take it for granted – we’re very humbled by it and to be a part of the Michelin group.

The mastermind behind the award winning restaurant.

“Although we’ve always been confident that our food was some of the finest in the region, it was so exciting to have confirmation that it’s also some of the finest in the country.

“We’re looking forward to getting back in the kitchen and to keep pushing for higher standards.”

They specialise in high quality ingredients.

The Michelin star joins their trophy cabinet, alongside their AA Awards for Service and Hospitality, and their TripAdvisor certificate of Excellence.

Anyone wanting to experience the award-winning cuisine can book in for either their lunch or evening service.

Lunch à la carte: Individually-priced courses starting from £15.50.

6-course surprise lunch menu: £65pp.

8-course surprise evening menu: £89pp.
