Two charged with Ingoldmells murder

Man and woman to face murder charges

A man and a woman have been charged with the murder of 52-year-old Caroline Fisher after an altercation in a bar in Ingoldmells, Skegness.

Leon Wadsworth, 31, and Hayley Fletcher, also 31, both from Sheffield, were charged with murder on Monday, October 15, after a four-month police investigation.

Caroline Fisher from Eastwood in Nottinghamshire was in Buzz Bar in Sea Lane in the resort on the evening of July 20, 2018, and was innocently caught up when violence broke out.

She was in the Skegness resort only a few hours and not in full health. Caroline was partially blind and had a cast on her leg.

When violence broke out in the bar, she was injured and taken to hospital, but died in the early hours of July 21.

Wadsworth and Fletcher will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning, October 16.
