Elderly man assaulted by teens in Halloween masks

A group of teenagers wearing Halloween masks allegedly set upon an elderly man in Cleethorpes last week.

The 79-year-old man, who was on a mobility scooter, suffered minor injuries when the thugs attacked, pulling him from the vehicle and spraying him with an aerosol.

It happened on Taylor’s Avenue at around 7pm on Thursday, November 1.

The group then cycled away.

Officers are investigating and anyone with information about the incident or those involved should contact Humberside Police on 101 quoting log number 302 of November 2.
