A 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged attack outside The Anchor pub on Lincoln High Street last week.
As previously reported, a 28-year-old local man was knocked to the ground, suffering a head injury, at about 2.40am on Friday, November 2.
It’s believed he hit his head on a bollard.
He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and later transferred to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham in a serious condition with a head injury, which he was still being treated for over the weekend.
Lincolnshire Police said: “We would also like to repeat our appeals for any information from anyone who was in the area around 2.40am on Friday morning near The Anchor public house on High Street, Lincoln and may have seen the incident to contact 101. The person who was injured is still being treated at QMC.”
