Weather warning for wind in Lincolnshire

It could affect journey times

A yellow weather warning is in place for wind in Lincolnshire on Thursday.

A spell of wet and windy weather is expected, with a very small chance of very strong and disruptive winds until 2pm on Thursday, November 29.

Delays to road and rail are likely with some journeys taking longer.

There is also a chance of some cancellations as well as some road/bridge closures so keep an eye on traffic reports.

Short term loss of power and other services in the county is also possible.

The Lincolnshire coast could also be affected by spray and/or large waves. There is a small chance of injuries from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.
