Who was it? Man captured on CCTV picking up abandoned car

They still don’t know who it was

A silver car abandoned in the car park at a Lincoln golf club over a week ago has now been collected by a man captured on CCTV after a story was published about it on The Lincolnite on Monday.

A man with brown hair has now picked up the car, but it remains a mystery as to exactly what happened and why the car was left for so long at Lincoln Golf Centre.

Head PGA Golf Professional at Lincoln Golf Centre Paul Logan previously contacted The Lincolnite about the bizarre issue after a silver Skoda was found left in its car park since Sunday, November 18.

Paul told The Lincolnite the car has now “mysteriously gone” after it “just disappeared this morning” on Tuesday, November 27.

This car was found abandoned at a local golf club last weekend.

He said: “On CCTV a man with brown hair just walked into the car park got in and drove off.

“We are just really happy that it’s all ended well, it wasn’t a missing person as feared. With activities at an open water swimming lake and numerous other lakes close by we feared that could have been involved.

“Bit frustrating that we never got the bottom of the mystery but we are overall very happy with the outcome.”

The reward of £15 and a free round on the course was never claimed. Can you solve the mystery? Email us at [email protected].
