Plans have been submitted to build 21 bungalows on a former infants school site in Scunthorpe.
Proposals lodged by HG Homes would see the development built on the former Priory Lane Infants School site, West Common Gardens.
The building was demolished in 2016 after the school merged with Prior Lane Junior School.
Under the plans submitted to North Lincolnshire Council, 10 two-bedroom, seven three-bedroom dormer and four three-bedroom bungalows would be built at the site.
The developer said the proposal would help to contribute to the town’s housing supply.
It said: “The proposals will also contribute towards meeting the 2026 housing supply targets within Scunthorpe.
“There is currently an expected shortfall in housing within Scunthorpe due to delays with the implementation of the main Lincolnshire Lakes development.”
The plans will be considered by the local authority at a later date.
