Man arrested after pointing gun at pub reveller

He was suspected of owning a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence

A 37-year-old man has been arrested after waving a gun around in a Grimsby pub.

Humberside Police arrested the suspect after the incident in the Angel pub on Freeman Street at around 5pm on Wednesday, January 9.

Officers quickly attended the scene and arrested the suspect who had left the premises. He remains in custody.

Nobody was injured in the incident, but police arrested a man on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
